Arrowpoint Properties is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at our multi-property portfolio in and around the Merrimack Valley and southern NH.  The applicant will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in all aspects of maintenance and grounds keeping at the properties. They will also work with our Property Manager on completing work orders on a daily basis.

About the Job:

Arrowpoint Properties is seeking a reliable, organized Maintenance Technician with a solid working knowledge of general trades, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry. This role requires travel between multiple properties in the Methuen, MA and Manchester, NH areas; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous maintenance experience in residential apartment communities is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates without prior experience may be considered and provided with on-the-job training.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Experience and Requirements of the Position: (principal requirements not limited to the following):

  • Spanish speaking though not required, is a plus
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and drywall repairs are necessary
  • Painting experience preferred but not required
  • Grounds keeping experience preferred
  • Make-ready vacant apartments for occupancy
  • Ability to quickly and adequately trace leaks and able to repair properly
  • Be able to maintain or replace appliances, fixtures and switches
  • Resolve daily work order requests from existing residents and office staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be on call 1-2 weekends per month (trade off with other maintenance staff)
  • Provide own basic hand tools preferred though not required
  • At least 2 years of prior maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of primary software used by the Management Office (training provided)
  • Must have vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the area
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
